Florida Planned is a trading name of CyProtec Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. CyProtec Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, the page or button you signed up from, your browser's referring page (if any), and the date and time of signup. We do not collect names, payment details, or any special-category data at this stage.

Why we collect it

We use your email solely to send a confirmation message and, once you confirm, to notify you when Florida Planned opens to new users. We may occasionally send a short planning tip if you have opted in. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing by others.

Legal basis

Our legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit the waitlist form, and confirmed when you click the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in). You can withdraw consent at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until you ask us to delete it, or until Florida Planned launches and we have sent the launch notification, after which unconfirmed entries are removed. You can request deletion at any time.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted sub-processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database storage, EU region), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes your data only to provide their service to us and under their own data-protection terms. Some processing may occur outside the UK; where it does, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these, email us at hello@floridaplanned.com.
